My WoW Account got hacked.
As the title states, my WoW Account got hacked during the night. The hacker stole some armor and gold. I don’t know who did this and why and although it’s probably nothing personal just a quick hack and run, I feel hurt, betrayed and extremely sad and nervous. I’m mailing Blizzard as we speak but I’m all upset and trust me, this isn’t good for me. Someone just took all the things I worked on for so long and used them in their own advantage. I spent days, weeks, months farming the Emblems for my PvE gear and farming enough honor points for my PvP gear. Now that’s all, or atleast partly gone. I can’t help but wonder why and who, who does such things? Monsters. Dickheads. Idiotic, lazy morons.
Oh that’s awful. My husband’s account has been hacked a few times. The first time they gave him lousy green gear and some gold to replace it, not nearly worth the same. The second and third he was able to get it all back. This last time was more recent so hopefully Blizzard is getting better at tracking things like this, or are more sympathetic to those who are hacked.
Hopefully you get everything returned to you soon.
All items that went missing were epic, atleast level 213. Some over level 251. I’m going to cry like a baby if I don’t get it back, I think. It’s good that Blizzard is getting better at things like this, I hope they can solve it quickly and I get my stuff back. Meh.
I was hacked in January and they gave me all my gear and gold back. Just don’t take the offer that they send to you for gold and emblems and you’ll get your gear back. No worries =)
I hope so. How long did it take before they responded to your claim? I haven’t heard anything from them in the last 24 hours but maybe I shouldn’t be so impatient…
My account was hacked at night while i wasnt on..they stole all ym gold..all my regents..my weapon and my belt..both my trinkets and my rings and my back gear..they moved me to a different part of the map with all my gear that they didnt take broken:-(. i contacted blizzard and they said they put in an investigation and i should get MOST of my stuff back. They also said it would take a few weeks cause it is summer time. Is it true they will offer me some gold and emblems? and if they do should i take it or make them restore my character to its previous state?
They restored my character, gave me all my gear back and everything that was in my bank and bags. But I didn’t get anything extra like emblems and such. Hopefully you get everything back too!
